About Me

I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Case Western Reserve University, where I majored in psychology. Subsequently, I graduated from Albany Medical College and completed my Pediatric Residency at the University of Rochester. I became a Board Certified pediatrician - practicing general pediatrics from 1997-2007.

While my traditional medical practice was rewarding, I realized there were great benefits using natural treatments alongside conventional medicine. So, I decided to pursue training in Pediatric Integrative Medicine. I attended a two-year intensive fellowship in integrative medicine through the University of Arizona, gaining an understanding of nutrition, botanical medicine, and mind-body interactions. I have been practicing pediatric integrative medicine since 2008 and have worked with over 1,000 children and their families. I am also a proud mother of three children and have been happily married for over 30 years.

I believe that combining traditional treatments with holistic approaches can improve patient outcomes for a myriad of issues children face. My pediatric integrative medicine approach can help patients take lower doses of prescribed medicine and/or help them stop medicines entirely. Through a variety of holistic approaches I offer, I look forward to working with you to improve the health and livelihood of your family.
